Info From Coach Mac about Team Camp

I have listed the team basketball camp information, that we spoke of earlier this year, in regards to sending returning junior high players to participate in. The camp will be held at the University of Louisville, June 12th thru the 14th. We will begin practice, for those who have registered, the last week in May and practice a couple of days each week prior to the camp. All students who are currently in grades 4th through 7th are eligible to participate as they will be playing as a middle school team. We will evaluate the players who sign up and balance out the rosters in regards to skill level if we have enough for more than one team. Teams will play 6 plus games, stay in air-conditioned dorms, meals will be provided by the U of L dining halls, each player will receive a camp t-shirt, and is guaranteed playing time. The total cost for each player is $160.00, this is an overnight camp, players will be staying in the university dorms and be supervised at night by U of L players, transportation is not provided. Attached is the medical release waiver that each player must return with their camp fee. The camp fee and release form is due to the junior high coach no later than April 20th (the medical release form is page 2 of the attachment).

March 16th & March 20th 6:00-8:00pm Ice practice at high school (Ice practices will be Monday and Thursdays, we will make a decision regarding spring break practice after meeting with the parents)

Week of May 18th open gym at high school begins for all girls enrolled in Logan County Schools (thru the end of the school year)

June 2nd all players interested in playing for Logan County High School, summer practice begins, middle school team camp players practice begins

June 2nd, 3rd, 4th, (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Logan Ice Summer Basketball Camp for grades K-8th

June 5th, 6th, 7th Shot Doctor Shooting Camp for High School and Jr High players $90 per person at LCHS (Friday and Saturday will be 8:30-4:00, Sunday will be 1:00-5:00)

June 12th-14th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) LCHS and middle school teams at Louisville Camp $160 for each player which pays for dorm room, food, and camp

June 15th-17th (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) LCHS at Transylvania team camp $155 for each player which pays for dorm room, food, and camp
